“DATA DESCRAMBLE COMPLETE. DEFENSE MECHANISM. DETECTS UNNATURAL MOVEMENT FROM ABOVE AND BELOW. I HAVE UPGRADED MY RADAR USING INFORMATION FROM DAMAGED AUTOMATON. PROBABILITY OF SUCCESS WAS LOW. WE HAVE ARRIVED AT THE LOCATION.”
You look at a small, crumbling building. During the day, this would have easily been missed. The outside walls are caked in sand, and the blinding light of the sun would hide this place from anyone who came looking. The closer you look, the more you think there’s more of the building below the sand than above. You all walk the perimeter, looking for a way in. “Got something!” You hear Jill around the corner. You all gather in front of a door. There’s no knob, knocker, or anything on it. A small, shiny orb is near the top. You, Jill, and even Borgen all press the glass orb. Nothing happens. Pushing on the door does nothing. ROOMBA looks at the door, and it swings open. “WE ARE HERE.”
