Unlikely Pair XIV

Now that you’re armed, you approach the corn beast again. Again, a cob is forcefully thrown in your general direction. You block it successfully, and continue on. As you get closer, you hear beeping, and can just make out a glowing light coming from deep within the corn mass. You poke at it with your sword, and the rumbling stops. A few cobs tumble to the ground. You start to dig, and the light disappears. You continue to dig through this corn, determined to find the source.
