Unexpected Visitor X

The party continues south, and soon you arrive at the entrance to the Jundland Desert. There are a few signs placed along the edges of the desert.

“DANGER!”

“DO NOT ENTER!”

“NO TRESPASSING”

“Ahead: Sand”

Borgen fashions some interesting layering, in an attempt to keep sand from his boots. Jill covers her head in a scarf, and double checks her water supply. You’ve done all the preparations you can, it’s time to move on.

The Jundland Desert is beautiful, if not blindingly bright. The sand looks almost golden, and a gentle wisp of wind carries a few golden specks to new dunes. Aside from that though, there’s nothing else to see. It’s not quite as hot here as Ember Lagoon, but it’s a close second while the sun is out. The group walks until the greenery is no longer visible. There are small bits and pieces of things hidden within the sand, but otherwise, there are no landmarks you can find. Each dune looks the same. You hold your compass, thinking maybe it will be useful here. The arrow just spins around and around. “I WILL GUIDE. FOLLOW.” ROOMBA marches towards, well, more sand.
