Summer Lessons in Science III

The kids really loved digging into the watermelons. It was a lot of fun and a lot of mess. Ha!

The next lesson focuses on taking measurements. Specifically, the teachers will be helping the kids learn how to estimate measurements, and then to take more accurate measurements using different methods and tools. They’ll use the watermelons to measure mass, weight, length (the long diameter), width (the smaller diameter), and circumferences at various points. This lesson shouldn’t be too messy, but there’s still some good potential for things to go haywire.

Once again, Vincent could use a hand with some supplies for the lesson, if you can help.
