You all agree this is a good first step, and set out towards Cecil’s home together.
Buddy suggests you cut through the middle of town, so he can stop and grab lunch at Mariya’s. As you round the corner, you all realize that there has been no one on the streets to greet you. In the town square, a figure in armor stands addressing a sizable crowd.
“Our town will not be safe until this dragon is brought to heel. Your families, your friends, your livestock, they can never feel true security! We must bring Beatrix to justice for the terror she has reigned upon this town! Are you with me?”
Beatrix quickly moves, wide-eyed behind Buddy attempting to hide herself, but it’s too late. You hear cries of “There she is! The evil dragon!”
Ric turns abruptly towards you and your friends and realizing there’s no quick way out of this, you all set yourself up for a confrontation with Ric Ryph.
