Peculiar Endings IV
On the dawn of the second day, you carry out your various chores, a pile of Cecil’s requested items in the corner. One by one, members of the Golden Leaf approach your home. They all look moderately disheveled, having lived away from the town for a few days. Cecil, by comparison, seems completely normal looking almost picturesque by comparison; as stoic and put together as any other time you’ve seen him outside his home.
Nearly all of the group eyes each other warily as you sit on the back porch out of view of the main road. A quiet tension builds, once again, between friends divided by opinion and varying levels of trust and it’s hard to imagine who will break the silence.
