Parts Unknown IX

Immediately after dropping the repair materials in the slot, the front door very slowly begins to creak open inward.
As it starts to open, the location the previous voice came from emits what sounds simply like “WHOOSH”. When you turn to look in that direction, the voice states: “THE DOOR HAS MALFUNCTIONED AND IS NO LONGER CAPABLE OF CREATING THE ‘WHOOSH’ SOUND. IT IS MY RESPONSIBILITY TO ATTEND TO THE FAILINGS OF THIS FACILITY."

With directions in tow, you, George, and Vincent head to the foyer. It is at once both a testament to the castle’s long-gone opulence and current despondent and abandoned nature. As you make your way through the room, gems cover the ceiling and walls to create strange patterns. There are paintings, decorations, and other valuable looking items every which way you look. As you look to your comrades, Vincent seems unfazed, but George’s eyes are alight with wonder.
To each side of the hallway, you see several doors that appear to have been very well kept. They are labeled strangely, matching what you see on the parchment: ROOM 0001B, and below this, you read what appears to be a person’s name on each door.

At the end of the foyer, a steel door covered in plush material stands in your way. A slot in the door opens and a broken looking eye extends out. “WELCOME TO ROOM 0001A, BIOLOGICAL ENTITIES HAVE TITLED THIS ‘HALLWAY A’. DOOR 0001J HAS HAD ITS OBSERVATIONAL MATRIX DAMAGED DUE TO DISREPAIR AND DISUSE. PLEASE PROVIDE THE REQUISITE MATERIALS TO MOVE FORWARD.”
