Hard At Work V
You’re met with another door, once you reach the bottom of the stairs. It’s very shiny, and much sturdier than your doors at home. You open the door, and are met with a plume of smoke. You cough, and wave away the fumes, and search for Jill. Her basement is filled with half built gizmos, tools, and… Corn. Her corn silo feeds directly into a huge barrel in her basement.
You maneuver through piles of gadgets and gizmos, and find Jill, mumbling to herself. Her back is to you, and she’s hammering away at some device. “Why won’t you WORK?” You accidentally kick a bucket of nails, and they scatter. She hears you, and whips a handful of nails in your direction. Luckily, she’s not very good at aiming. “WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!?!?!” Jill grabs you by the arm and drags you upstairs.
