The voice beckons. “Cursed to land. If water once was your home and your hope, where then is your sanctuary? Stories tell us that the stars once told their own tale and guided us to places we needed to be. Now, you are lost.”
The voice becomes a screech. “Revenge. Revenge. Revenge.” The screeching becomes louder, and you can feel your mind suddenly push outward, desperate to escape the prison of your skull.

You smell something powerful. Smoke?
Snap. Crackle. Snap.

You bolt upright, awakened. Your tent is ablaze.
Fire! Buddy!
You clamor out of the tent and make a mad dash for water. Your brain, it seems, is still intact.
