Distant Illusions III

Sunlight crests the peaks and valleys of the horizon, and the bright reflection on the pure white snow nearly blinds you as you open your tent flap to greet the morning. Tracks in the snow have been erased by what you assume was the wind and snow overnight. Buddy hasn’t woken up yet, but you think a kingly breakfast will be in order when he does, so you set about making a royal meal.
