“Do you remember when you first moved here? I do. I bought some of the first peppers you ever grew, and I gave you some orange juice to help you get started exploring. You were so new to everything back then. I hope I helped you become the farmer, fisher, explorer, and crafter that you are today. You have come so far! I think by now you’ve helped everyone in town.”
“And how many adventures and conflicts have we weathered? Hmmm. I’ve lost track of how many times you’ve saved your friends and everyone else. Where would we be without you? I don’t even want to think about it.”
“Well, I have a new adventure for us, and an opportunity to dig into the past. This time we’ll need to start by trying to find our friend Buddy. Hopefully, he’s not in trouble, but if he’s gone after what I think he’s after, there may be trouble aplenty.”
“If you’re up for joining me on another adventure, we’ll need to look like pirates. Will you find us a few things to make disguises?”
