There’s a cliff that reaches out above you, and trees and bushes provide plenty of cover should the raptor pass by. Jill seems rather worried, as you hear a screech approaching from your right. You let her hold your compass, which seems to help her relax.
You and Borgen watch the raptor spring after something. Whatever it was must have run off, and the raptor quickly pursues. You see something fall from the raptor’s foot as it disappears further into the forest. “Whatever that thing dropped, I want it.”, Borgen says confidently. “Once we get that, we can keep moving.”
