“You’ve done it this time! Well, maybe Vincent shares a hand in it too. Nevertheless, I definitely expected you to know better by now than to fiddle with Ethereal Growth Guides. Do you realize what you’ve done…errr…what you and Vincent have done?”
Star looks at you quizzically, and then seems to finally notice that you don’t have a clue what he’s talking about.
“The eggs! You and Vincent brought them all together and unlocked an ethereal progress ramp. Now, the ether in this area is increasing and new ether variations are popping up everywhere. There are some variations that I haven’t seen before and some I’ve only ever read about. This could be extremely dangerous! You thought I was going to say eggstremely dangerous, didn’t you?”
No longer addressing you, Star paces across your living room, muttering under his breath and gesticulating wildly. A small floating quill follows behind the pacing mage, furiously scratching down notes on a long sheet of parchment hovering a few centimeters behind Star’s back.
“I think I have it! Yes! There will be new eggs, a new set of Ethereal Growth Guides. There has to be with all the new ether variations. We’ll find them and use them to help us get control of this process.”
“If you’re up for helping me wrangle some ether, I need you to gather every strange or magical egg you see. We’ll also need some low-level Ethereal Growth Guides and other spell enhancers. I’ll make you a list.”
