Threads of Music III

As soon as Cecil freed the nail, the insect seized it and hopped away. Cecil followed as quickly as he could, but the insect retreated into a hole in the ground before Cecil could catch it. Peering down into the hole by torchlight, Cecil found what appeared to be a large hollow nest filled with the remains of long dead insects. The strange nail-obsessed insect was nowhere to be seen.

Cecil considered digging into the nest to continue his search for the strange insect, but stopped when he sensed what felt like a very dangerous magic deeper down. For now, he’s going to close off this area to make sure nothing is further disturbed.
