The Spirit of Delicacy III
As you’re working, you look up and see Holger approaching from down the lane. In the sky, much further behind Holger, you see a cloud quickly starting to blow in your direction. Puzzled, you keep watching the cloud and realize there are wings periodically popping out of it. It must be Geist! As the realization comes to you, you look back down and see Holger in a flat out sprint towards you while looking back over his shoulder up at the sky. What is going on?
Running faster than you thought any human could move, Holger reaches you, stumbles, and nearly falls on his face right in front of you. He begins trying to say something, but you can’t make it out with all of his wheezing breaking up his words.
Geist gently lands next to the two of you a half second after Holger’s arrival, and waits patiently for Holger to give her an opening to speak. Holger holds up a finger, indicating his desperate need for a moment to catch his breath. Geist takes that as a sign for her to proceed.
Geist would like you to get her some more purple ghost crabs, as many as you can find. She loved them! Before Geist can finish singing your praises for bringing her the crabs, Holger, now slightly less winded, cuts in and also asks for more crabs. He ends his request by mentioning that where he’s from there is a respect for those that arrive first when it comes to food.
You look from Holger to Geist and back again. Both faces are a mirror of sweet pleading. Not wanting to disappoint either, you promise to bring some crabs for both of them.
