Strange Companions XXXIV
Cecil gathers the materials before himself and there’s an odd hum in the air as he raises his staff. Gold glows around him and the world begins to shimmer. A moment of discomfort and flashing lights later, you arrive in a familiar cave. Adorned with treasure chests and pirate coins, Buddy’s home seems a welcome respite from the chaos of the moment.
“Beatrix will need a piece of heart. I’ve not seen a wound like that in a while, but with a spell, we can make sure she will survive. Ric will want to make a grand gesture of it all, so we will have a day before he does anything too rash with her or the others, I hope.”
