Peculiar Endings I
Ric Ryph watches Geist fly in the air. He seems fixed in place, eyes to the heavens for a moment before snapping out of his reverie. A cruel smile crosses his face before he puts his helmet back on and walks away from the town center unfazed.
The town is in a state of panic, fireworks continue to launch from all different points in the city, each punctuating the night with flashes of light, always in a cascade of color followed by a crack that sounds like thunder. Using the flashes of fireworks as your guide, you sneak to the edge of the city, and through the gap Buddy showed you earlier to make your way back to Buddy’s Cave.
At the entrance, you reach your hand out and find a cutlass across your neck.
“Password?” A voice calls out.
You slowly move your hands into your pockets and pull out some skull coins.
