One Hoof to Live V
Leaving, Charles directs you towards Beatrix’s home.
"Neigh." (Two more stops old chap. You’ve been quite helpful so far.)
Beatrix opens the door after two knocks.
“Oh, hello there, what can I do for you?”
You explain that you’re helping Charles build his stable, and she gives you a look of disbelief. “How would you know what Charles is looking for?”
Charles whinnies, (don’t tell her!) but you wink at Charles and explain to Beatrix about the Ring of Renthisj.
“Oh wow, I'd completely forgotten Rosalie had made this ring, I haven't had the opportunity to truly use one in a thousand years!" Beatrix gives the ring a look of wonderment, "I'm impressed that it is still working so well for a first time magical enchantment, Rosalie is a natural. Could I borrow it, just for a bit? This reminds us of better times. Perhaps we could make some new friends...I’ll trade some time with it to you for some of the things on your list!”
Charles suddenly seems impatient as he responds, “Neigh! Neigh neigh, neigh.” (Well, we just need to take all these back and build the stable, I’m sure we won’t need the ring for a few days.)
Charles gives what you interpret as an impatient nod of assent, and you trade the ring over.
