Despite Cid’s reluctance to be back in the mine, he’s definitely making the best of it. He invited you to play a game with him while you’re both digging. He said it’s called Fool’s Heap.
The game is pretty simple. You and Cid both stack up any pyrite you find in a heap. The winner is whoever gets the biggest heap. The catch is that you can cheat. You can add regular stones and whatever else to the pile as long as the other player doesn’t catch you or call your bluff when time is up. Any time you get caught cheating you have to remove the offending items and the other player gets a scoop of the real pyrite from your heap.
