“The Langstaff family has lived around this part of T’rah since before the Dragon War. Somehow, we have always survived. After the Dragon War, my ancestors hid their powers in an attempt to blend in and improve their chances of survival. They successfully continued this tactic for hundreds of years, right up through the destruction of Jundland. Then, I continued to try to hide my powers when I came to Redbrook as the last of the Langstaffs.”
“What was it all for? If the Langstaff family ends with me, what was the point of hiding our powers behind technology in Castrum Romuska, or joining the human alliance and fighting the dragons, or anything else the Langstaffs accomplished?”
