“You are the first human, that is not Beatrix, to become such an integral part of my life. Though I often notice you look up at me in awe, it is I that am truly in awe of you. I am amazed at your willingness and ability to accept me. Most humans bear an almost innate distrust and dislike for any dragon. They are certainly afraid of us too. But you are not. Even from my first manifestation in your presence, you simply accepted what was happening and helped. I don’t quite understand how you do it.”
