Defenses and Consequences XIII

Jill is concerned about Lorn’s letter. There is great danger in opposing Ric. It could mean the end of her farm and all that she has built. She’s also concerned about the townsfolk. Ric is causing more suffering than the dragon ever did.

She wishes her mom was still around to give her some advice.

Jill thinks her mom would tell her to trust her friends. Her mom would probably also repeat that saying about injustice pouring on our neighbors eventually splashing on us. So, not opposing Ric might come back to ruin everything Jill has worked for anyway.
