Defenses and Consequences XII
Lorn appreciated your report about our mutual friend. He is also thankful that the dragon sightings have stopped.
However, Lorn is concerned about the townsfolk. Much of the damage from the wildly misfired cannons was repaired, but many people are hurting financially. The forced contributions to the relief fund drained what little some folks had left. Some of these less fortunate were hauled off to the Mt. Banon Work Camp this morning.
Lorn wants your help in forming a council. The goal of this council will be to help the people of the town, and to stop Ric Ryph before he takes things any further. Lorn has invited Holger, Thomas, and Rosalie already. If you are willing to join the council, Lorn would like you to recruit four more townsfolk that you trust. He has prepared letters for you to share with those you recruit. The letters should be destroyed after they are read. Everyone that accepts this invitation should provide a golden leaf to mark their commitment to the council.
