Consequences and Defenses XI

Lorn needs help.

He followed the dragon until he got close to town. Then, explosions rang out from every direction. Lorn retreated back to the edge of the woods to find cover. There wasn’t much to see from where he was, but several of the houses in the distance looked to be damaged and the sky was orange towards town.

Once the explosions stopped, Lorn searched for the dragon and eventually found a trail of dragon blood a few hundred meters from Beatrix’s house, leading to a little stand of trees. Among the trees, Lorn found the dragon half conscious with its wings completely shredded. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the worst of it. Lorn also found several large wounds in the dragon’s side.

Lorn covered the dragon with branches and foliage, but he doesn’t think that cover will pass a close inspection. Will you and Thomas gather some things to hide the dragon while Lorn takes Vincent and Holger to make sure no one comes near the dragon?
