Archeology Requires Knowhow X

Lorn was right about your captivity being only a few kilometers from Black Rock Canyon. Unfortunately, the short journey takes a monumental effort in your less than optimal condition. Lorn moves slowly, staggering occasionally, but you continue to follow behind him. You keep a wary eye out for any signs that his condition is worsening. He periodically calls for a halt, but otherwise seems to be enduring the hike. As you approach Black Rock Canyon, you and Lorn both increase your pace step by step.

Pausing for a moment, Lorn looks your way and says, “I think the healicite is starting to make some progress. My head is doing less spinning and my legs feel a little more sturdy.”

The trek continues until eventually the forest gives way and the canyon opens up below you. Before finding a path down into the canyon, Lorn suggests one more break and a bite to eat.

“I saw some bees a little ways back. Will you help me look for their honey? I’ve always found it to be an excellent encourager of healicite.”
