As you gather the last item, Star appears before you in a shower of feathers yet again. He really loves that spell.
“Oh! Excellent, you’ve gotten the base materials! I knew you were the right person for the job. Now, I need to make a new staff, you know, for bigger magic. Big magic requires a lot of gems, could you fetch me some materials so I can make something worthy of my station? I don't want any Lemon Quartz though.”
Star hands you a second list, and all the previous materials (and Star) disappear without a trace. Except a lot of feathers and one wizard hat.
